![]() No matter how hard the struggle seems, never take your eyes of the prize. Our paths have many decisions to make. God wanted the Israelites’ to be able to have faith in Him. He wanted them to go in and take the promise land. This was the land he promised to their forefathers. So, they had chosen twelve spies to go in and spy on the land. They were to bring a report back on what they saw. They were also to bring back evidence of the land. In this teaching, I want to share a few points the Lord presented to me and also to show you how important any type of prosperity is to you. Let’s look at Numbers Chapter 13. We’re going to start with verses 17-19. These verses represent being observant in what is going on around you. You can see the good, bad, and right down to the ugly of things at times. Please read these verses they will help you understand what to look for. The point of this is to look for the good and Jesus will help you through the bad and ugly and also send us the comforter. We do live in the fleshly state at this moment. So we do see the bad and ugly no matter where we go. This next verse is a very important verse. Let’s take a look at verse 20. 1) Be ye of good courage (Have the strength to lay hold of the prize which is the promise.) 2) Bring fruit of the Land (This means to take possession of the things in the promise, take it back to and share it with others so they can see that it is the promise land.) 3) Now the time was the time of the first ripe grapes. (This is so important. When God shows you to take hold of it, share it because it is in season for you to claim it.) Now verses 21- 24 show that they went in and looked at the land and observed the surroundings of the area and got the fruit of that land. So they accomplished so far verses 17-20. Let’s look back at verse 23 notice the blessing was overwhelming. When you enter in that place of promise, blessing should be overflowing. Watch and see how they testify what the Lord had told them as well as bringing the proof. Verse 25-27 shows how they presented the report to the people. They also showed the fruit of that land. They even saw just how blessed that land was. It was the Lord who told them it’s a land of milk and honey. I want you to look at verse 27; they sought the land and they focused on what was there. They seen it had everything they needed to posses what it had. There is a warning coming up soon so you must continue to read on. Verses 28 – 29 they decided to look at all the wrong circumstances. All the other things caused them to walk away from this. Notice in verse 27 they talked about how the city is great and then going into 29 how the people were of enemies. The promise of the Lord is that the enemy can’t defeat us if he told us to conquer it. Verse 30 this is how we should be taking a stand and get what all God has to OFFER YOU, the total package of prosperity in every area in your life. Gods Word translation of the bible it states in Num 13:30 that Caleb told the people to be quiet and listen to Moses. Caleb said, "Let's go now and take possession of the land. We should be more than able to conquer it." My daughter Magen made a profound statement, “Why would you risk the chances of Jesus not being in your heart? By the time the rapture comes it could be too late to change your mind about having him in your life.” This is important because it parallels with the meaning of this message if you risk getting your promise land it could be to late. Psalms 25 12 – 15. This is a set of scriptures for you to learn that the Lord does respect those who respect Him. It also so show much He loves you so that your seed can inherit that promise land.
