![]() Recently, the Lord spoke to me about the advancement of this ministry. He said, “Don’t wait to see it, cause it to happen.” I knew right from that moment what He was talking about. Often, we want to see the signs, miracles, and wonders first so we can believe it. We forget that we can make miracles happen. Don’t shout me down, stop and think. We’ll look at examples of Jesus and another person. Then we’ll look at what we are to do as servants of God. Let’s see what was accomplished when it was assigned. The first thing that came across my mind after recognizing the people and what they did to make it happen was the old saying, “despise not small beginnings” and “taking care of the small things to get to do the bigger things.” My point is that when we do nothing we’re creating nothing to happen. Here’s the list of examples. Heavenly Father: Genesis 1:3 (3) And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. When they said, let’s make man in our image, He shaped and molded us in the dust and breathed life into us. Genesis 2:7 (7) And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. You see this is a miracle but He caused what He said to happen. Of course, His list could go on and on. Jesus: Mark 8:22-25 (22) And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him. (23) And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. (24) And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. (25) After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. What happened when Jesus called the blind man forth? He did something to cause a miracle to happen. Like God, Jesus’ list could go on and on. Moses: The first example I want to show you of a biblical person is Moses. God gave him instructions to cross the Red Sea. Watch what happens when Moses is obedient. Here’s the scripture: Exodus 14:15-16 (15) And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: (16) But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. The miracle was performed by Moses’ action; the action was to lift up the rod. He performed an assignment that God gave to him to do. Let’s move on. We as Servants: God gives instructions by giving us knowledge and wisdom. Proverbs 1: 7 says, Proverbs 1:7 (7) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. We are instructed by God to do the same works as Jesus. The key, of course, is to believe in Him first. John 14:12 (12) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. We want this ministry to be a happening thing. Not a sit and see thing. Things can only be done by doing something to make it happen. The scripture above is the same as Jesus saying follow me and I will make you fishers of men. Matthew 4:18-19 (18) And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. (19) And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Now, we have talked about God, Jesus, and Moses. I would like for you to put your name in this list and begin to see yourself as a worker for the Lord and see what you and Jesus can cause to happen. This is co-ruling and co-reigning with the Lord Jesus. This is taking your place in royalty according to Ephesians 2: 6. Look it up.
