Fruit of the Spirit - Galatians 5: 22-23

Let the Fruit of the Spirit Shine Among Us

We, as a rider, should still show the fruit of the spirit  at all times.  We shouldn’t let our motorcycle or biker image change how we act or look in public.  To win the people to Jesus, our fruits need to shine through our motorcycles and ourselves as Bikers.  Let Jesus’ name be present all around us where they can see the fruits we bare.  This will lead the people to the Glory of God and hopefully change their lives and the way they think about a biker.  Let’s show them that the Holy Spirit can move through a biker and be used by God.

Small Prayer for all Riders

Lord I ask you to cover each and every biker that honors you to show and use the fruit to honor you to win souls into your kingdom.  Amen.

What are the Fruit of the Spirit?

1) Love - To show love we keep our bikes clean and presentable.  Clearly this shows we care about the bike that God has given us.  Let’s show that love to our fellow friends; bikers or not.  Mark 12:31 shows how Jesus loved by his own commandment.

2) Joy - We love to call this kickstands up and cruise the highways and byways to enjoy God’s beautiful country.  We need to share that beauty with our fellow friends.  We want them to have Joy in their lives also.

3) Peace - Inspecting our bikes gives us peace for our rides.  Let us help our fellow friends find peace with a good prayer for them.  Tell them how we gained peace by knowing Jesus Christ as our Lord & Savior.

4) Longsuffering - Our long rides do come with problems such as mechanical, bad weather, crazy drivers and our personal life.  These small issues teach us how to be patient. Those issues can be used as witnessing tool to others how we overcome through Jesus.

5) Gentleness - We treat our bikes with kindness of love.  It returns its gentleness back to us by gliding easily and gently down the road.  Let’s share that same gentleness to everyone around us.  We all need it.

6) Goodness - Is the things the Lord has done for us by being obedient and giving  respect to him.  The anointing of Jesus follows those with signs, miracles, and wonders that trust him.  Let’s rub that anointing on those who we come across in our paths.

7) Faith - Is knowing that our bikes will make it to our destination.  We need to show that same faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.  Our testimony of faith needs to be witness so others may follow.
8) Meekness - Our presence as a biker needs to be humble.  We know that we have   problems.  We should never let our problems be bigger than theirs.  So, let’s try to lend a helping hand to show that Christian bikers do represent the humbleness of our Lord Jesus Christ, to change their views about us.

9) Temperance - Attitude control is instrumental when witnessing to someone.  It shows the very meaning of our hearts.  This impression should show forgiveness at all times with no signs of bad behavior.  This is the world’s testing ground to see how you react.  Let our love shine for their sake, not ours.
